The Power of Wind for the Future



Goldwind is a Chinese wind power company. Headquartered in Beijing, China, Goldwind was founded in 1998 to preserve the environment for the sake of future generations.

Goldwind produces Permanent Magnet Direct Drive wind turbines and is ranked among the largest of its kind in China and the world. It offers comprehensive wind resource assessment services. Its research and development facilities are located across six continents, ensuring its capability to expand and innovate.

By the end of 2012, Goldwind has accumulated wind energy production of 15 gigawatts and has so far installed over 12,000 wind turbines in different locations worldwide. Its capacity to generate wind energy is equivalent to over 12 million tons of saved coal per year or 16.4 cubic meters of new forests. Such capacity reduced carbon emission by 29.91 tons per year.

Goldwind is a publicly traded company. Its shares are traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
