SUPERVALU is an American retail company. With headquarters in Eden Prairie in Minnesota, the company has been in business for more than a century and has established itself as the third-largest food retail company in the US. SUPERVALU traces its roots to 1926 when the Winston and Newell Company began, only taking on the name it has today in 1952.
