The Korea
Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) is a chemical research
institute that is focused on green technology, drug candidates,
chemical materials, and chemistry-based fusion technologies. KRICT is one of
the world’s green chemistry practitioners.
Among the
sectors that benefit from its green technology researches are biorefineries,
petroleum displacements, chemical biotechnologies and environment. KRICT is
also involved in bio-organic science researches to develop drugs against
infections, metabolic
diseases, inflammations, and cerebral and cardiovascular problems.
KRICT is doing
advanced chemical material researches to develop key materials for lighting
devices, electronic components and semi-conductors. These materials are also
used in heavy duty structures and material-based technologies. KRICT is also
involved in pilot efforts to develop and produce fine chemicals and chemical
materials.
KRICT also
provides support services that include chemical analysis, assessment of
chemical materials, chemical technology policy services and strategy services.
