Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing Company: A Rifle Manufacturer

The legendary 1874 Sharps Rifle is just one of the rifles that Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing Company reproduces. The business is known for manufacturing old west rifles and continues to manufacture their own models of firearms.

Headquartered in Big Timber, Montana, the company is registered as a firearms manufacturer that was started by Christian Sharps. Using his knowledge and expertise in making firearms, he created the first Sharps firearm in 1848. From that time onwards, he has introduced to the market various models of black-powder rifles. The re-introduction of these classic firearms to the modern era is mostly credited to the efforts of Len Mule, who created several drawings and prototypes of the Model 1863 firearm.

Today, the company produces two basic models for their rifles, the percussion rifle and the black-powder cartridge rifle. These weaponries are offered in various barrel lengths and sizes. These products are fully functional but are mostly purchased by enthusiasts as part of their collections.
